Eligibility Details
- Applicants must have passed ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in the relevant trade from a recognized institution.
- Eligible trades include:
- Fitter
- Electrician
- Machinist
- Turner
- Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV)
- Draughtsman Mechanical
- Welder (Gas & Electric)
- Candidates must have completed their ITI course.
- Final year students or those awaiting results are not eligible.
- Candidates who are currently undergoing or have already completed Apprenticeship Training are not permitted to apply.
- Applicants must have registered on the Apprenticeship India portal before attending the walk-in interview.
Salary Details
Selected Apprenticeship Trainees at CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL) will receive a monthly stipend as per apprenticeship norms.
- ₹10,560 per month – For trades such as Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, Turner, Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV), and Draughtsman Mechanical.
- ₹9,600 per month – For Welder (Gas & Electric) trade.
The apprenticeship training period is one year, and the stipend will be paid during the training tenure as per applicable guidelines. No additional allowances such as TA/DA will be provided for attending the walk-in interview.

Selection Process
The selection process for Apprenticeship Trainees at CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL) will be conducted through a Walk-in-Interview.
