Eligibility Details
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent from a recognized board or institution.
- Applicants must possess relevant skills in the respective trade (Barber/Washerman).
- Candidates will be required to qualify in the Trade Test related to their profession.
Salary Details
- Pay Level: Level-2 (as per 7th Central Pay Commission)
- Pay Scale: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 per month
- Additional Benefits: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, and other government allowances as applicable

Selection Process
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST):
In this first stage, candidates’ physical fitness and body measurements are checked. PET includes activities like running, while PST measures height, chest, etc. This stage is qualifying in nature. - Written Examination:
Candidates who clear PET/PST will appear for a written test. It generally includes questions based on general knowledge, mathematics, reasoning, and basic awareness. - Trade Test:
This stage evaluates the candidate’s practical skills in their respective trade (Barber or Washerman). Candidates must demonstrate their ability and knowledge of the work. - Document Verification:
Shortlisted candidates must present their original documents such as educational certificates, identity proof, caste certificate (if applicable), etc., for verification. - Medical Examination:
Finally, candidates undergo a medical test to ensure they are physically and medically fit as per government norms. Only medically fit candidates will be selected.
