Eligibility Details
1. Library Assistant
- Graduate degree in Library Science from a recognized university is required.
2. Lab Technician (Electronics Engineering Department)
- Any Graduate (Science/Engineering) or
- Diploma in Engineering or relevant Science field.
3. Lab Technician (Aerospace Engineering & Autonomous Systems Department)
- Any Graduate (Science/Engineering) or
- Diploma in Engineering or relevant Science field.
4. Assistant (General Administration)
- Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Salary Details
- Graduate Apprentices: ₹12,300 per month (including ₹4,500 DBT support)
- Diploma Apprentices: ₹10,900 per month (including ₹4,000 DBT support)
This is a fixed monthly stipend provided during the one-year training period under the apprenticeship program.
Age limit as on 06.04.2026
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years
- Age Relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other reserved categories as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process
- Walk-in Interview:
Candidates need to appear directly for the interview scheduled on 6 April 2026 at DIAT Pune. - Document Verification:
All original documents (educational certificates, ID proof, caste certificate, etc.) will be verified on the same day. - Performance-Based Shortlisting:
Selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the interview. - Provisional Selection List:
The list of selected candidates will be published on the official website of the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology. - Final Selection:
