- Furthermore, the qualification should be obtained on or before the prescribed cut-off date, otherwise the application will not be considered valid.
- In addition, candidates must ensure that their educational qualification is recognized by the concerned authorities at the time of document verification.
- Also, applicants should note that the written exam standard will be of matric (10th) level, even though the minimum qualification required is 12th pass.
Salary Details
- Selected candidates receive pay under Level-4 pay scale.
- Salary ranges approximately from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 per month.
- Along with basic pay, candidates also get government allowances and benefits as per rules.
- Final in-hand salary may increase based on allowances and departmental norms.

Selection Process
- Candidates first appear for a Written Competitive Examination.
- Authorities conduct the exam in objective (MCQ) format with 100 questions for 100 marks.
- The paper includes subjects like Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs.
- Candidates complete the exam in 2 hours.
- Applicants must score at least 30% marks to qualify for the next stage.
- Authorities shortlist candidates for the next stage based on written exam performance.
- After that, candidates appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
- PET carries 100 marks and includes Running, Shot Put, and High Jump.
- Running Test:
- Male candidates run 1.6 km in 6 minutes.
- Female candidates run 1 km in 5 minutes.
- Faster timing earns higher marks.
- Shot Put:
- Male candidates use 16 lbs weight, female candidates use 12 lbs weight.
- Marks depend on throwing distance.
- High Jump:
- Male candidates start from 4 feet, female candidates from 3 feet.
- Higher jumps give higher marks.
- Running Test:
- Candidates must also meet physical standards (height, chest, weight):
- Male height: 165 cm (general), relaxation for some categories up to 160 cm
- Female height: 155 cm
- Male chest: 81 cm (normal) with expansion requirement
- Female weight: minimum 48 kg
- Final merit list prepares based only on PET marks, after document verification and eligibility checks.
