Eligibility Details

Candidates must meet the following educational qualification and trade-specific eligibility requirements:

  • Passed SSC/10th Standard or equivalent examination with Science subjects and secured a minimum of 55% marks.
  • Possess an ITI Certificate or National/State Trade Certificate in one of the following trades:
    • Electronics Mechanic / Electronics Trade
    • Electrician Trade
    • Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA)
    • Multimedia, Animation and Special Effects
    • Digital Photographer / Photographer
    • Mechanic Motor Vehicle
  • Candidates who have completed 2 years of full-time apprenticeship training in the relevant trade from a recognized institution are also eligible.
  • Candidates with 3 years of work experience in the relevant trade in a Government Department, Ministry, Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), Autonomous Body, or similar government organization can also apply.
  • Applicants must possess all required qualifications and experience before the prescribed eligibility date mentioned in the official notification.

    Salary Details

    Selected candidates will receive the following salary and benefits:

    • Pay Level: Level-02 of the Pay Matrix.
    • Pay Scale: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 per month.
    • Approximate Monthly Emoluments: ₹44,428 per month at the minimum of the pay scale.
    • In addition, candidates will receive allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA) as per CSIR and Central Government rules.
    • Employees will also be eligible for benefits including medical facilities, Leave Travel Concession (LTC), pension benefits under the National Pension System (NPS), and career advancement opportunities as per applicable rules.

    Age limit

    The age limit will be calculated as on 30 June 2026.

    • Minimum Age: 18 years
    • Maximum Age: 28 years

    In addition, age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen as per government norms.
