1. Preliminary Examination

3. Physical Standard Test (PST)
The PST verifies whether candidates meet the prescribed physical standards. It is qualifying in nature, and no marks are awarded.
For Male Candidates
- General/BC: Height – 165 cm, Chest – 81 cm (Unexpanded) / 86 cm (Expanded)
- EBC/SC/ST: Height – 160 cm, Chest – 79 cm (Unexpanded) / 84 cm (Expanded)
For Female Candidates
- Minimum Height: 155 cm
- Minimum Weight: 48 kg
- Chest measurement is not applicable for female candidates.
4. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates who clear the written examination and satisfy the physical standards will appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
- The PET is qualifying in nature.
- It assesses the candidate’s physical fitness and endurance.
- Candidates must successfully complete the prescribed physical activities as per BPSSC standards.
- Failure to qualify in the PET will result in disqualification from further stages.
5. Document Verification (DV)
Candidates who qualify all previous stages must produce their original documents for verification.
6. Medical Examination
