Eligibility Details
To apply for the Rajasthan High Court Stenographer Recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the following educational and skill requirements:
- Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) in Arts, Science, or Commerce from the Rajasthan Board or any equivalent recognized board.
- Candidates must possess a good working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and should also be familiar with Rajasthani dialects.
- Candidates must have any one of the following computer qualifications:
- DOEACC/NIELIT ‘O’ Level or higher certificate.
- COPA/DPCS certificate under NCVT/SCVT.
- Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Applications from a recognized institution.
- Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a Government-recognized Polytechnic.
- RSCIT certificate issued by Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota.
- Senior Secondary with Computer Science as an optional subject.
- Any other equivalent or higher computer qualification recognized by the Government.
- Candidates must be mentally and physically fit to perform the duties of the post.
- Applicants must be Indian citizens. Candidates from Nepal or Bhutan may also apply if they possess the required eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive the following salary as per the Rajasthan High Court recruitment rules:

Selection Process
The Rajasthan High Court will conduct the selection process in the following stages:
- Shorthand Test – Candidates must qualify in the Hindi or English Shorthand Test, depending on the post they have applied for.
- Computer Test – Qualified candidates will appear for a Computer Test that evaluates typing speed and efficiency.
- Qualifying Interview – Candidates who clear the written stages will attend a qualifying interview to assess their suitability for the post. The interview carries no marks and is conducted only to verify the candidate’s ability to perform stenography duties effectively.
- Document Verification – The High Court will verify all original educational, category, and other required documents of shortlisted candidates.
- Medical Examination – Finally, selected candidates must undergo a medical fitness test before receiving the final appointment.
