Eligibility Details
Here are the post-wise educational qualifications candidates must fulfill before applying:
- Junior Engineer-I (Electrical): Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering or the relevant discipline from a recognized university or institute.
- Junior Engineer-I (Mechanical): Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institute.
- Junior Engineer-I (Civil): Candidates should hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
- Junior Accountant: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com.), or IPCC/Intermediate (CA), or MBA/PG Diploma in Business Management, or M.Com. Additionally, they must have a valid computer qualification such as O Level, CCC, COPA, DPCS, RSCIT, Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Computer Science or Computer Applications, or 10+2 with Computer Science/Computer Application as one of the subjects.
- Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized board. In addition, they should possess a valid computer qualification such as O Level, CCC, COPA, Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Computer Science or Computer Applications, or 10+2 with Computer Science/Computer Application as one of the subjects, or RSCIT Certificate.
Salary Details
Before applying, candidates should check the post-wise pay scale mentioned below:
- Junior Engineer-I (Electrical): Pay Matrix Level-10 (Approx. ₹33,800 – ₹1,06,700 per month, as per Rajasthan Government rules).
- Junior Engineer-I (Mechanical): Pay Matrix Level-10 (Approx. ₹33,800 – ₹1,06,700 per month).
- Junior Engineer-I (Civil): Pay Matrix Level-10 (Approx. ₹33,800 – ₹1,06,700 per month).
- Junior Accountant: Pay Matrix Level-10 (Approx. ₹33,800 – ₹1,06,700 per month).
- Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II: Pay Matrix Level-5 (Approx. ₹20,800 – ₹65,900 per month).
Age limit
The age of all candidates will be calculated as on 01 January 2027. Candidates must satisfy the following post-wise age criteria before applying:
- Junior Engineer-I (Electrical): 21 to 40 years (For RVPN posts, the upper age limit is 43 years.)
- Junior Engineer-I (Mechanical): 21 to 40 years.
- Junior Engineer-I (Civil): 21 to 43 years (RVPN posts).
- Junior Accountant: 18 to 43 years.
- Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II: 18 to 43 years.
- Age Relaxation: Reserved category candidates will receive age relaxation as per the Rajasthan Government recruitment rules.
Age Relaxation
Before applying, candidates should also check the applicable age relaxation rules:
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS/MBC (Male) of Rajasthan: 5 years age relaxation.
- General Category (Female) of Rajasthan: 5 years age relaxation.
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS/MBC (Female) of Rajasthan: 10 years age relaxation.
- Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation will be provided as per Rajasthan Government rules.
- PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities): Age relaxation will be applicable as per the official recruitment rules.
- Other reserved categories: Any additional relaxation will be granted according to the Rajasthan Government and RVUNL recruitment rules.
Application Fee
Before submitting the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee according to their category:
- General Category / Other State: ₹1,000/- (Including GST)
- SC / ST / BC / MBC / EWS / PwBD / Saharia Candidates (Rajasthan): ₹500/- (Including GST)
Selection Process
Before making the final selection, RVUNL will evaluate candidates through the following stages:
- Written Examination: First, the department will conduct a Computer-Based Test (CBT) to assess the candidate’s technical knowledge, subject knowledge, reasoning ability, general awareness, and other prescribed topics according to the post applied for.
- Document Verification: Next, candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for Document Verification. During this stage, officials will verify educational qualifications, age proof, category certificates, identity proof, and all other required documents.
- Medical Examination: After successful document verification, shortlisted candidates will undergo a Medical Examination to ensure they meet the medical fitness standards prescribed by RVUNL.
- Final Merit List: Finally, RVUNL will prepare the final merit list based on the candidate’s performance in the written examination, subject to successful document verification and medical fitness. Candidates whose names appear in the final merit list will receive appointment offers.
