Shri Krishna AYUSH University Kurukshetra has announced a new recruitment drive for candidates seeking government job opportunities in the non-teaching sector. Through this recruitment process, the university will appoint eligible candidates to various posts on a regular basis. Moreover, the recruitment provides an opportunity to build a stable career in the public sector and work with a reputed AYUSH university. Eligibility Details
Candidates must meet the prescribed educational requirements for the respective post. The post-wise qualification details are given below:
- Staff Nurse
- Candidates must have passed Matric.
- Candidates must hold an A Grade Nursing qualification and registration with the Haryana Nurses Registration Council or an equivalent authority.
- Candidates must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at the Matric level, or Hindi at the 10+2, BA, or MA level.
- Ayurvedic Pharmacist
- Candidates must possess an Up-Vaidya qualification from a recognized University, Institution, Board, or Faculty of Indian System of Medicine, or a Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Candidates must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at the Matric level, or Hindi at the 10+2, BA, or MA level.
- Clerk
- Candidates must hold a Graduation degree from a recognized university.
- Ex-servicemen can also meet the qualification through pensionable service with a First Class Army Certificate or a Graduate Certificate issued by the competent Defence Services authority.
- Candidates must qualify the prescribed written test of language and General Knowledge at the graduation level.
- Candidates must qualify the data entry test with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute.
- Candidates must possess basic knowledge of computers, internet, and email.
- Candidates must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at the Matric level, or Hindi at the 10+2, BA, or MA level.
- Candidates appointed as Clerks must also qualify the State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Applications (SETC) within the prescribed probation period.
Salary Details
The university will offer the following pay scales to candidates appointed to the respective posts:
- Staff Nurse: Pay Level FPL-6 – ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month.
- Ayurvedic Pharmacist: Pay Level FPL-6 – ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month.
- Clerk: Pay Level FPL-2 – ₹19,900 to ₹63,200 per month.
Additionally, Clerks must qualify the SETC test within the prescribed probation period. Otherwise, they will not receive increments until they qualify, and continued failure may affect their continuation in service.
Age limit
The university will calculate the candidate’s age as on the closing date of the application process.
- Minimum Age:Â 18 years
- Maximum Age:Â 42 years
- SC/BC candidates:Â 5 years of relaxation as per applicable government rules.
- PwBD candidates:Â Relaxation will apply as per the prescribed rules.
- Widowed, legally divorced, judicially separated, and unmarried women:Â 5 years of relaxation.
- Ex-servicemen:Â Relaxation will apply according to the period of military service rendered, along with the applicable additional relaxation.
- Eligible Haryana government employees working on adhoc, contract, work-charged, or daily-wage basis:Â Age relaxation may apply based on their completed service, subject to the prescribed maximum limit.
- Maximum age after applicable relaxations:Â Generally, the upper age limit cannot exceed 52 years, except where specific rules apply to Ex-servicemen.
Application Fee
Candidates must pay the prescribed application fee according to their category and state status. The fee structure is as follows:
- Candidates from other states: ₹1,500
- Male General candidates of Haryana: ₹1,500
- Dependent Sons of Ex-Servicemen (Haryana): ₹1,500
- Male candidates of Backward Classes (Creamy Layer): ₹1,500
- Female General candidates of Haryana: ₹750
- Female dependents of Ex-Servicemen: ₹750
- OSC/DSC/BC-A/BC-B/ESM candidates of Haryana: ₹375
- EWS candidates of Haryana: ₹375
- PwBD candidates of Haryana with at least 40% disability:Â No fee
Candidates can pay the fee through Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card. The university will not refund the fee after payment.
Selection Process
SKAU Kurukshetra will follow a post-wise selection process to shortlist suitable candidates. Therefore, candidates should understand the examination pattern, marks distribution, and qualifying requirements before starting their preparation.
Selection Process for Staff Nurse and Ayurvedic Pharmacist
For both Staff Nurse and Ayurvedic Pharmacist posts, the university will assess candidates through a written examination followed by evaluation of academic achievements.

The university will conduct the written test in MCQ format. Moreover, candidates will not face any negative marking for incorrect answers. Afterward, the university will verify academic achievement marks during the document verification stage.
The university will shortlist candidates for physical document verification in a 1:5 ratio in each category, based on the combined score of the written test and academic achievements.
Selection Process for Clerk
The Clerk selection process includes a typing test, written examination, and academic achievement assessment. Thus, candidates must perform well at each applicable stage.

Candidates must achieve a minimum typing speed of 30 Net Words Per Minute (NWPM). Furthermore, the university will award typing-test marks based on the speed achieved above 30 NWPM, subject to the maximum of 15 marks.

The Clerk written examination will also have no negative marking. In addition, candidates will receive academic achievement marks based on their performance in 10th, 12th, and Graduation.
Finally, candidates appointed to the Clerk post must qualify the State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Applications (SETC) within the prescribed probation period. If a candidate fails to qualify within the required period, the university may withhold increments until qualification and may take further action as per the applicable recruitment rules.
