Eligibility Details
The eligibility requirements for the MEA Internship Programme are as follows:
- Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- Applicants must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university at the time of applying.
- Final-year graduation students can also apply if their course makes an internship mandatory as part of the final-year curriculum.
Salary Details
The selected interns will receive financial support during the internship as follows:
- Monthly Honorarium: INR 10,000 per month.
- Travel Support: One-time to-and-fro air travel will be provided, subject to the prescribed economy-class airfare ceiling.
- Boarding & Lodging: Interns will have to bear their own boarding and lodging expenses in Delhi.
Age limit
The age limit for the MEA Internship Programme will be considered as on 31 December of the year of the internship.
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
- No Age Relaxation will be provided to any category of candidates.

Candidates can submit their applications without paying any fee.

Selection Process
The Ministry of External Affairs will select candidates through the following stages:

- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear for an interview through Video Conferencing (DVC).
