- Scientist-C (Non-Medical): Candidates must hold an M.Sc., M.Sc. MLT in Virology, Microbiology, Biotechnology or Parasitology, or an M.Tech in Biotechnology, along with four years of research and development or teaching experience. Alternatively, candidates may hold a second-class degree in the relevant discipline, a Ph.D., and four years of experience.
- Data Entry Operator (under DHR): Candidates must have completed graduation and demonstrate a computer typing speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour.
- Multi-Tasking Staff (under DHR): Candidates must have passed High School or Matriculation.
Salary Details
AIIMS Deoghar will offer a monthly salary based on the selected post. The salary details for each position are as follows:
- Scientist-C (Non-Medical): ₹67,000 per month, plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as applicable.
- Data Entry Operator (under DHR): ₹20,000 per month on a consolidated basis.
- Multi-Tasking Staff (under DHR): ₹18,000 per month on a consolidated basis.
Additionally, the institute will provide HRA according to the applicable city classification. Candidates should also note that the recruitment notification mentions a 5% increment after every two years, as per Department of Science and Technology (DST) norms.
Age limit
AIIMS Deoghar will calculate candidates’ age as of 30 August 2026. Candidates should be at least 18 years old and must meet the following post-wise upper age limits:

- Data Entry Operator (under DHR): 18–30 years.
- Multi-Tasking Staff (under DHR): 18–30 years.

- First, visit the official AIIMS Deoghar website and open the recruitment section.
- Next, find the advertisement titled AIIMS/DEO/State-VRDL/2026-27/127 and download the official notification and application form.
- Then, fill in the application form correctly and sign it.
- After that, attach two recent self-attested passport-size colour photographs, and staple or pin one photograph to the first page of the application form.
