Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies.
- The candidate should be proficient in the local language of the State / Union Territory applied for (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Proof of local language proficiency must be provided through 10th or 12th standard mark sheet / certificate showing the local language as one of the subjects.
- The date of passing the qualifying examination must be on or before 30 November 2025.
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training in any organization are not eligible.
- Candidates having one year or more job experience after completing their educational qualification are not eligible.

Bank of Maharashtra Apprentice – Selection Process
- Selection will be done through a merit list prepared State-wise.
- The merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in 12th (HSC/10+2) or Diploma examination.
- Candidates with higher percentage marks will be placed higher in the merit list.
- In case of a tie in percentage, candidates will be ranked according to age in descending order (older candidate placed higher).
- For candidates who completed an Engineering Degree after Diploma, Diploma marks will be considered for merit preparation.
- The merit list will be generated only on the basis of details filled in the online application.
- Document Verification will be conducted for shortlisted candidates; any discrepancy will lead to disqualification.
- Final engagement is subject to medical fitness, verification of documents, and antecedent checks by the bank.
- A State-wise waiting list will be maintained for one year to fill vacancies arising due to non-joining or withdrawals.
Bank of Maharashtra Apprentice – Salary/Stipend
- Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,300/-.
- The stipend will be paid for the entire training period of one year.
- Apprentices are not entitled to any additional allowances or benefits such as DA, HRA, TA, or medical benefits.
- This engagement is purely for training purposes and does not constitute employment with Bank of Maharashtra.
