Bharat Electronics Limited Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has announced a new recruitment notification for the engagement of Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Apprentices at its Navi Mumbai unit. This apprenticeship program is offered under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) and National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) for a duration of one year.

The organization is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates who have completed their qualifications on or after 01 July 2021. Interested applicants must register through the NATS or NAPS portal and submit their application form via email on or before 27 February 2026. The walk-in selection for Graduate and Diploma Apprentices will be held on 28 February 2026, while ITI Apprentice selection is scheduled for 02 March 2026 at BEL, Navi Mumbai.

Eligibility Details

1. Graduate Apprentice

• Candidates must have completed B.E./B.Tech (4 years) in:
  • Electronics and Communication Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
• Degree must be recognized by AICTE or Government of India.
• Candidates must have passed on or after 01 July 2021.

OR

• Candidates must have completed B.Sc / B.Com / B.A (3 years) from a recognized university (AICTE/GOI approved).
• Qualification must be completed on or after 01 July 2021.

2. Diploma Apprentice

• Candidates must have completed a Diploma in:
  • Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
• Diploma must be from an AICTE or Government-approved institute.
• Qualification must be completed on or after 01 July 2021.

3. ITI Apprentice

• Candidates must possess an ITI Certificate in relevant trades such as:
  • Fitter
  • Turner
  • Machinist
  • Electrician
  • Painter (General)
  • Draughtsman (Mechanical)
  • COPA
  • Welder (G & E)
• ITI Certificate must be issued by NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) or SCVT (State Council for Vocational Training).

Important Note

• Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
• Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under NATS/NAPS in any organization are not eligible.

Salary Details

1. Graduate Apprentice

For Engineering Graduates (B.E./B.Tech – ECE & Mechanical):

• ₹17,500 per month
  • ₹13,000 paid by BEL
  • ₹4,500 paid by Government through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)

For B.Sc / B.Com / B.A Graduates:

• ₹12,500 per month
  • ₹8,000 paid by BEL
  • ₹4,500 paid by Government through DBT

2. Diploma Apprentice

• ₹12,500 per month
  • ₹8,500 paid by BEL
  • ₹4,000 paid by Government through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)

3. ITI Apprentice

• ₹11,040 per month (for most trades – paid entirely by BEL)
• ₹10,560 per month (for COPA & Welder trades – paid entirely by BEL)

Important Points

• The apprenticeship duration is 12 months (One Year).
• No additional allowances such as TA/DA will be provided.
• Canteen facility is available at nominal rates.
• No accommodation facility will be provided.

Age limit as on 01.02.2026

Minimum Age: 18 Years

Maximum Age: 21 Yrs (ITI), 25 Yrs (Diploma or Graduate)

Selection Process

1. Mode of Selection

• Selection will be based on a written test conducted by BEL, Navi Mumbai.
• Final selection will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written examination.

2. Minimum Qualifying Marks

Candidates must secure the following minimum marks in the written test:

• General / EWS / OBC-NCL: 35%
• SC / ST / PwBD: 30%

Qualifying marks do not guarantee final selection. Merit list will be prepared category-wise.

3. Shortlisting & Intimation

• Shortlisted candidates will be informed through registered email ID.
• The final list of selected candidates will also be published on the official BEL website.

4. Document Verification

• Candidates must bring original documents along with one set of photocopies at the time of joining.
• Failure to produce required documents will lead to disqualification.

Step 1: Register on the Respective Portal

Registration on the appropriate apprenticeship portal is mandatory before applying.

For Graduate & Diploma Apprentices (NATS Portal)

• Visit the official NATS 2.0 portal: https://nats.education.gov.in
• Click on Student Tab
• Select Student Register
• Enter Email ID and Mobile Number (these will be used as login credentials)
• Verify OTP sent to email and mobile
• Fill in personal, educational, communication, bank, and training preference details
• Submit the form and take a printout of the registration form

For ITI Apprentices (NAPS Portal)

• Visit: https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
• Click on Candidate Login/Register → Register
• Fill in required details and submit
• Activate registration through email
• Login and complete profile (Upload photo, signature, education documents, bank details)
• Aadhaar authentication is mandatory
• Take a printout of the NAPS registration/enrolment mail

Step 2: Fill BEL Application Form

• Download or use the prescribed application format provided in the notification.
• Fill all required details correctly.
• Ensure NATS/NAPS Registration Number is mentioned.

Step 3: Send Application via Email

• The application must be sent on or before 27 February 2026.
• Applications received after the last date may not be considered.
