CSIR CSIO Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
The selection procedure for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) at CSIR-CSIO shall be carried out as per CSIR Rules, as amended from time to time, and will consist of the following stages:
- Trade Test:
Eligible candidates will be invited to appear for a Trade Test. The mode and conduct of the Trade Test will be decided by the duly constituted Selection Committee. - Written Examination:
Candidates who qualify the Trade Test will be called for a Competitive Written Examination. The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance in the written examination.
Written Test Details (as per CSIR Guidelines):
- Mode of Examination: OMR-based or Computer-Based Test (Objective Type)
- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Medium of Questions: English and Hindi (except English Language section). Institutes may also provide questions in vernacular languages.
- Exam Standard: Class X level
- Total Number of Questions: 150
- Total Duration: 2 Hours
