Eligibility Details
- The candidate must be a Graduate from a recognized University.
- The final result of graduation must be declared on or before 23 February 2026.
- The candidate should have a minimum English typing speed of 35 words per minute on a computer.

Salary Details
- The post of Junior Judicial Assistant / Restorer is classified as Group ‘B’.
- Selected candidates will be placed in Level 6 of the Pay Matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (7th CPC).
- The basic pay starts at ₹35,400 per month.
- In addition to basic pay, employees are entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, and other admissible government benefits as per rules.

The selection for Junior Judicial Assistant / Restorer 2026 will be conducted through the following stages:
- Stage I – Preliminary Examination (Computer Based Test):
- Objective-type test conducted online.
- Includes questions from English Language & Comprehension, General Awareness & Current Affairs, and Reasoning & Numerical Ability.
- This stage is qualifying in nature and includes negative marking.
- Stage II – Main Examination (Descriptive):
- Descriptive paper in English language.
- Includes Essay, Letter Writing, Grammar, and Translation.
- Marks of this stage are counted for final merit.
- Stage III – English Typing Test:
- Conducted on computer to check minimum typing speed of 35 WPM.
- This stage is qualifying only.
- Stage IV – Interview:
- Personal interview carrying 15 marks.
- Marks obtained in the interview are added to the final merit list.
- Final Merit List:
- Prepared based on marks of the Main (Descriptive) Examination and Interview only.
