Eligibility Details
1. English Teacher (Class VI–XII):
Candidates must have an integrated postgraduate degree with at least 50% marks including a B.Ed. component, or a Master’s degree in English with 50% marks along with a B.Ed. or equivalent qualification. They must also be proficient in teaching in both English and Hindi mediums. Knowledge of computer applications is desirable.
2. Mathematics Teacher (Class IX–XII):
Applicants should possess a postgraduate degree in Mathematics with at least 50% marks along with a B.Ed. or equivalent qualification, or an integrated degree including B.Ed. Proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi is required.
3. Computer Science Teacher (Class VI–XII):
Candidates must have at least 50% marks in qualifications such as B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT, MCA, M.Sc. (Computer Science), or equivalent. Those with other degrees along with a postgraduate diploma in computers are also eligible. A B.Ed. degree and the ability to teach in both Hindi and English are desirable.
4. Social Science Teacher (Class VI–X):
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in any two subjects such as History, Geography, Economics, or Political Science, along with a B.Ed. degree. They must also have qualified CTET Paper-II and be capable of teaching in English and Hindi.
5. Mathematics Teacher (Class VI–X):
Candidates should have a graduation degree with Mathematics as the main subject, along with required combinations like Physics and one additional subject such as Chemistry, Computer Science, or Statistics. A B.Ed. degree and CTET qualification (Paper I or II) are mandatory.
6. Sanskrit/Odia Teacher (Class IV–X):
Applicants must possess a relevant degree in the concerned language along with a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification. They should also be proficient in teaching the subject effectively.
7. Hindi Teacher (Class I–VII):
Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks along with a Diploma in Elementary Education, or hold a graduation degree with B.Ed., or a four-year integrated teaching degree. CTET qualification and proficiency in Hindi and English are required.
8. Science Teacher (Class I–VIII):
Applicants must have a background in subjects like Chemistry, Botany, or Zoology along with the required teaching qualifications such as D.El.Ed. or B.Ed. They must also be CTET qualified.
9. Lower Division Clerk (LDC):
Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board and should have a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi. Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office is essential, while prior work experience is desirable.
Salary Details
Teaching Staff (All Subjects):
- The salary will be paid on a per-period basis depending on the classes assigned.
- Candidates teaching Classes I to V will receive ₹200 per period.
- For Classes VI to X, the payment is ₹220 per period.
- For Classes XI to XII, the payment is ₹250 per period.
- Overall, the monthly salary is expected to be approximately between ₹20,000 and ₹35,000, depending on workload.
- No additional allowances or benefits will be provided.
Lower Division Clerk (LDC):
- Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly salary of ₹20,000.
- This is a consolidated amount, and no extra allowances will be given.
Age Criteria as on 31.03.2026
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 50 years
- There is no age bar for candidates who are already working under DRES.
- Age relaxation will be applicable for SC/ST and other reserved categories as per Government of India rules.
Selection Process
- The selection process will be conducted through a walk-in interview.
- Candidates are required to appear in person at the interview venue with their duly filled application form and original documents for verification.
- The selection will be based on a classroom teaching demonstration (demo) to evaluate teaching ability.
- After the demo, candidates will attend a personal interview to assess subject knowledge, communication skills, and overall suitability.
- Final selection will be made based on the candidate’s performance in both the demo and interview.

- 31 March 2026: For Mathematics, Science, Computer Science, and Social Science posts
- 01 April 2026: For English, Sanskrit/Odia, Hindi, and LDC posts
