Eligibility Details
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts (BA), Science (B.Sc), Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- The degree must be obtained from a recognized institution/university.
- Applicants must have acquired the required qualification on or before 26 February 2026 (closing date of application).
- All relevant certificates and mark sheets must be available at the time of application/document verification.
- Any improvement in qualification or marks after the closing date will not be considered.
- For the DSP post, candidates must also meet the prescribed physical standards in addition to the educational qualification.
Salary Details
1. HCS (Executive Branch) & DSP
• Pay Level: Level 10
• Pay Scale: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month
2. Allied Services (Group B Posts)
These include Excise & Taxation Officer (ETO), Assistant Excise & Taxation Officer (AETO), Tehsildar, Traffic Manager, and similar posts.
• Pay Levels: Level 9 / Level 7-8 (depending on the specific post)
• Pay Scale Range: roughly ₹44,900 – ₹1,51,100 (Level 7) up to ₹53,100 – ₹1,67,800 (Level 9)

Along with basic pay, selected candidates are entitled to:
• Dearness Allowance (DA)
• House Rent Allowance (HRA) or government accommodation
• Transport Allowance (TA)
• Medical facilities & pension (NPS) as per Haryana Government rule

- Stage 1: Preliminary Examination
- Objective type (MCQs)
- Two papers: General Studies & CSAT

- Stage 2: Main Written Examination
- Descriptive (conventional) type papers
- Total 6 papers
- Marks counted for final merit
- Stage 3: Personality Test / Interview
- Viva-voce round
- Final assessment of candidate’s suitability
- Final Selection: Based on marks obtained in Main Examination + Interview.
