Eligibility Details
- Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): Full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering from a recognized institute with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Technician Apprentice (Electrical): Full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institute with minimum required marks.
- Technician Apprentice (Telecommunication & Instrumentation): Full-time Diploma in Electronics / Telecommunication / Instrumentation / Communication–related engineering disciplines from a recognized institute.
- Trade Apprentice (Assistant – Human Resource): Full-time Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Trade Apprentice (Accountant): Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized university.
- Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentice): Must have passed 12th Class (Intermediate) and should not be a graduate.
- Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holder): 12th pass (below graduate) along with a valid Domestic Data Entry Operator skill certificate issued by a government-recognized authority.

Selection Process
- Candidates will be selected purely on the basis of merit.
- A merit list (Panel-cum-Merit List) will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in the essential qualification relevant to the trade applied for.
- Aggregate marks of all semesters/years will be considered for preparing the merit list.
- In case of tie in marks, preference will be given to:
- Candidate with higher age (earlier date of birth)
- If still tied, candidate with higher marks in Matriculation (10th).
- No written examination or interview will be conducted.
- Reservation and age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules.
- Final selection is subject to document verification and medical fitness as per IOCL standards.

- Candidates must first register on the respective apprenticeship portal as per their trade:
- NAPS Portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) for Data Entry Operator trades.
- NATS Portal (nats.education.gov.in) for Technician Apprentice and Graduate/Trade Apprentice posts.
- After registration, candidates must apply for the IOCL apprenticeship opportunity using the IOCL Establishment ID of the concerned Pipelines Region on the NAPS/NATS portal.
- Once applied on NAPS/NATS, candidates must complete the online application on the IOCL Pipelines portal at plapps.indianoilpipelines.in.
- The application process includes two stages:
- Part-I Registration: Fill basic details and create a password.
