Eligibility Details
- Candidates must have completed their qualification through regular full-time mode from a recognized Board/University/Institute.
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma (3 years) in relevant Engineering streams like Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Instrumentation, etc.
- Trade Apprentice (ITI): Matric (10th pass) with a 2-year ITI course in trades such as Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, or Machinist.
- Graduate Apprentice: Graduation (BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA or equivalent) in any discipline.
- Data Entry Operator (Fresher): 12th pass (minimum qualification, but should not be a graduate).
- Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders): 12th pass along with a valid skill certificate in Domestic Data Entry Operator.
- Minimum marks required: 50% for General/OBC/EWS and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
- Candidates with higher professional qualifications like B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, etc. are not eligible.
- Qualification must be obtained within the prescribed date range mentioned in the notification.
Salary Details
- Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and its latest amendments.
- The exact stipend amount will be decided according to the type of apprenticeship (Trade/Technician/Graduate) and government norms.
- IOCL will pay the stipend as per prescribed rates, which may be revised from time to time.
- No additional allowances or benefits (like HRA, TA, etc.) will be provided during the training period.

Selection Process
- There will be no written exam or interview for this recruitment.
- Selection will be done purely on merit basis.
- Merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the required qualification (ITI/Diploma/Graduation/12th).
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification.
- Candidates must also pass a Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness Test.
- Final selection will be confirmed only after successful document verification and medical fitness.
