Eligibility Details
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institution approved by the Government of India.
- Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) holders are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates with professional qualifications such as Engineering, Medical, Chartered Accountant (CA), or Cost Accountant are eligible.
Experience Requirement
- Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience (as on 31 December 2025) as an Officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank (RRB) listed under the RBI.
- Candidates working in private sector or non-PSB banks must be drawing a minimum annual gross salary of ₹9.50 lakh and should provide valid salary proof documents.
Local Language Proficiency
- Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, and understanding the local language of the circle they are applying for.
- Those who have studied the selected local language in Class 10 or 12 are exempted from the language proficiency test.

- Basic Pay: ₹48,480 per month
- Pay Scale: ₹48,480 – ₹85,920 (JMGS-I)

- Screening:
- A screening committee checks candidates’ experience, eligibility, and job profile.
- Candidates up to 3 times the number of vacancies (circle-wise and category-wise) are shortlisted for interview.
- Interview:
- Conducted for 50 marks.
- Candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks to be considered for final selection.
- Local Language Proficiency Test:
- Conducted before joining for provisionally selected candidates.
- Candidates who studied the local language in Class 10 or 12 are exempted.
- Final Merit List:
- Prepared based on Online Exam (75%) and Interview (25%) after normalization of marks.
