Eligibility Details
1. Librarian (Academic Pay Level – 10)
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science (or equivalent) with at least 55% marks.
- Consistently good academic record with knowledge of library computerization.
- Must have cleared NET / SLET / SET, or hold a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations.
Note:
Candidates with Ph.D. (as per prescribed conditions) may be exempted from NET.
2. Administrative Officer (Pay Level – 10)
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks.
- Selection will be through written test + interview.
3. Junior Assistant (Pay Level – 02)
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- Typing speed:
- 35 w.p.m. in English, or
- 30 w.p.m. in Hindi
- Basic computer proficiency required.
4. Library Attendant (Pay Level – 01)
Essential Qualifications:
- Passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent.
- Certificate course in Library Science from a recognized institution.
