UP Police SI and ASI Recruitment Eligibility Details
1️⃣ SI (Confidential)
Candidates applying for the post of Sub Inspector (Confidential) must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- The candidate must be a Graduate from a recognized university
- Stenography skills are mandatory (Stenographer Hindi: 80 wpm)
- Typing knowledge is required (English: 35 wpm & Hindi: 25 wpm)
- The candidate must possess a Computer ‘O’ Level certificate or any other qualification recognized as equivalent by the government
2️⃣ ASI (Clerk)
To be eligible for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk), candidates must meet the following requirements:
- The candidate must be a Graduate from a recognized university
- Typing skills are compulsory (English: 35 wpm & Hindi: 25 wpm)
- A Computer ‘O’ Level certificate or an equivalent qualification is required
3️⃣ ASI (Accounts)
The educational qualification for Assistant Sub Inspector (Accounts) is as follows:
- The candidate must have B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce)
or a Degree / Diploma in Commerce from a recognized institution - Typing knowledge is mandatory (Hindi: 15 wpm)
- The candidate must hold a Computer ‘O’ Level certificate or an equivalent qualification
