Eligibility Details
- Assistant Registrar: Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized university with a good academic record.
- Assistant Librarian: Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with at least 60% marks and qualification in NET/SLET/SET with knowledge of computerized library services.
- Technician: 10+2 with Science (60% marks) OR 10+2 with 50% marks plus ITI (1 year or more) OR 10th with 60% marks plus 2-year ITI certificate OR 3-year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant field.
- Technical Assistant: First Class BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering OR First Class Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
- Junior Assistant: 10+2 from a recognized board with 35 w.p.m typing speed and knowledge of computer word processing and spreadsheets.
- Superintendent: First Class Bachelor’s degree in any discipline OR Master’s degree with at least 50% marks along with knowledge of computer applications.
Salary Details
- Assistant Registrar: Pay Level 10 – ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month (PB-3 ₹15,600–39,100 + Grade Pay ₹5,400).
- Assistant Librarian: Pay Level 10 – ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month (PB-3 ₹15,600–39,100 + Grade Pay ₹5,400).
- Superintendent: Pay Level 6 – ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month (PB-2 ₹9,300–34,800 + Grade Pay ₹4,200).
- Technical Assistant: Pay Level 6 – ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month (PB-2 ₹9,300–34,800 + Grade Pay ₹4,200).
- Junior Assistant: Pay Level 3 – ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 per month (PB-1 ₹5,200–20,200 + Grade Pay ₹2,000).
- Technician: Pay Level 3 – ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 per month (PB-1 ₹5,200–20,200 + Grade Pay ₹2,000).

Selection Process
- Assistant Registrar: Selection is based on screening of academic qualifications, shortlisting, and a descriptive/short answer test if required. An interview may be conducted for final selection.
- Assistant Librarian: Candidates are evaluated through academic record screening and NET/SLET/SET qualifications. A skill test in library/information management may be conducted for shortlisted candidates.
- Technician: Selection involves a trade test/skill test to assess practical knowledge and hands-on expertise in the relevant trade. Written exam may be conducted for certain trades.
- Technical Assistant: Candidates are selected through screening of educational and technical qualifications, followed by a trade/practical test to evaluate technical skills.
- Junior Assistant: Selection includes a written/computer-based test, typing test, and evaluation of computer proficiency, along with verification of educational qualifications.
- Superintendent: Candidates are selected through a screening test, descriptive/short answer test, and computer proficiency test to assess office-related skills.
