Eligibility Details
Before applying, candidates must ensure that they meet the educational and other eligibility requirements prescribed by IBPS.
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
- Candidates must possess a valid Graduation mark sheet or degree certificate on the date of online registration.
- Candidates must provide the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while filling out the online application form.
- Candidates must have basic computer knowledge. They should either possess a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Computer Operations/Language or have studied Computer/Information Technology as a subject during school or college.
- Candidates should have working knowledge of the official language of the State or Union Territory for which they are applying. They should be able to read, write, and speak that language.
Salary Details
IBPS offers an attractive salary package to selected Customer Service Associates (CSA), along with several allowances and career growth opportunities.
- Starting Basic Pay: ₹24,050 per month.
- Monthly Gross Salary: Approximately ₹40,000 to ₹42,000, depending on the place of posting and applicable allowances.
- In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates receive benefits such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Special Allowance, Transport Allowance, Medical Benefits, and other admissible allowances as per bank rules.
- Furthermore, employees become eligible for annual increments, promotions, and salary revisions, which significantly enhance their overall earnings throughout their banking career.
Age limit
Candidates must satisfy the prescribed age criteria as specified in the official IBPS notification before submitting the online application.
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 28 Years
- Candidates must have been born between 02 July 1999 and 01 July 2007 (both dates inclusive).
- IBPS provides upper age relaxation to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process
IBPS conducts the recruitment process in two stages. Candidates must qualify each stage to become eligible for final selection. Important Points
- IBPS conducts both the Preliminary and Main examinations in online (Computer-Based Test) mode.
- The Preliminary Examination is qualifying in nature, and its marks are not considered for the final merit list.

- Final selection depends entirely on the marks obtained in the Main Examination.
- Negative Marking: IBPS deducts 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer in both the Preliminary and Main examinations. No penalty applies to unanswered questions.
