Eligibility Details
Before applying, make sure you meet the required educational qualification for your chosen apprentice stream.
- Arts: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from a recognized university.
- Commerce: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com or equivalent).
- Science: Bachelor’s Degree in Science from a recognized institution.
- Computer Applications: BCA or an equivalent Computer Applications degree.
- Business Administration: BBA or an equivalent Business Administration qualification.
- Hotel Management: Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management.
- BMS: Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS).
- BAF: Bachelor of Accounting & Finance (BAF).
- Social Work: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.
- Bachelor of Design: Graduation in Design from a recognized university.
- Electrical Engineering (Diploma): Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Electronics Engineering (Diploma): Diploma in Electronics Engineering.

Note: This recruitment is open for Graduate and Diploma Apprentices, and candidates should possess the relevant qualification in the applicable stream before applying.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly stipend during the apprenticeship period. The stipend depends on the qualification level of the apprentice.

Note: AVNL will pay the stipend every month as per the official apprenticeship notification. This engagement is purely temporary and does not provide regular government employee salary benefits.
Age limit
Candidates must satisfy the prescribed age conditions before applying for the apprenticeship programme:
- The minimum age for engagement is 18 years.
- Candidates must meet the applicable maximum age limit prescribed for their category and apprenticeship post.
- AVNL will provide age relaxation to eligible SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD and other reserved-category candidates according to Government of India rules.
- Candidates applying for an unreserved vacancy as reserved-category applicants will not receive age relaxation for that vacancy.
Application Fee
Candidates can apply without paying any application fee.

Selection Process
AVNL will assess eligible candidates through a screening and merit-based selection process.

- Tie-Breaking:Â If candidates secure equal marks, AVNL will give preference to the older candidate based on the date of birth.
