Eligibility Details
- Candidates must have passed the Intermediate (10+2) examination from the Bihar School Examination Board or any other recognized board in India.
- It is mandatory for applicants to have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) at the Intermediate level.
- Candidates who do not have PCM subjects in 10+2 will not be eligible for the Constable (Operator) post.
- The qualification must be completed on or before the last date of application submission.
- Applicants must possess valid mark sheets and certificates at the time of document verification.

Selection Process
1. Written Examination (MCQ Based)
- The first stage of selection will be an Objective Type (MCQ-based) Written Examination.
- The exam will consist of 100 questions carrying a total of 100 marks.
- The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.
- Questions will be asked from the following subjects:
- General Knowledge – 25 Marks
- Physics – 25 Marks
- Chemistry – 25 Marks
- Mathematics – 25 Marks
- The standard of questions in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will be based on the Intermediate (10+2) level.
Minimum qualifying marks in the written examination will be 30%. Only candidates securing 30% or more marks will be eligible to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test. The PET will include the following events:
Running Test:
- Male Candidates: 1.6 km to be completed within 6 minutes
- Female Candidates: 1 km to be completed within 5 minutes
Long Jump:
- Male: 4 Feet
- Female: 3 Feet
Shot Put (Gola Fek):
- Male: 16-pound shot to be thrown up to 16 feet
- Female: 12-pound shot to be thrown up to 12 feet
Candidates must qualify in all the physical events as per the prescribed standards to move ahead in the recruitment process.
