Eligibility Details
- Constable (Driver):
- 10th (Matriculation) pass
- Valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) Driving License
- Constable (Motor Mechanic Vehicle):
- 10th pass
- 2 years ITI in Mechanic Motor Vehicle
- 1 year experience in relevant field
- Constable (Tradesman – Other Posts):(Cook, Barber, Tailor, Washerman, Safai Karamchari, etc.)
- 10th pass
- Proficiency in respective trade
- Constable (Pioneer Wing – Mason/Electrician):
- 10th pass
- 1 year experience in the trade
- ITI preferred
Salary Details
- Pay Level: Level–3 (7th Pay Commission)
- Pay Scale: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 per month
- Dearness Allowance (DA)
- House Rent Allowance (HRA)
- Transport Allowance (TA)

- Constable (Driver): 21 to 27 years
- All Other Posts (Technical & Tradesman + Pioneer): 18 to 23 years

Selection Process
1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Qualifying in nature
- For most trades (Driver, MMV, Carpenter, Tailor, etc.):
- Male: 5 km run in 24 minutes
- Female: 1.6 km run in 8.30 minutes
- For Cook, Barber, Washerman, Safai Karamchari, etc.:
- Male: 1.6 km in 10 minutes
- Female: 1.6 km in 12 minutes
- For Pioneer Wing (Mason/Electrician):
- Male: 1.6 km in 9 minutes
2. Physical Standards Test (PST)
- Height: Male – 170 cm, Female – 157 cm
- Chest (Male only):
- Unexpanded: 80 cm
- Minimum expansion: 5 cm
- Weight should be proportionate as per rules
- Relaxation applicable for reserved categories
3. Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Total Marks: 100
- Duration: 2 hours
- Subjects:
- General Intelligence & Reasoning – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
- General Knowledge & Awareness – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
- Elementary Mathematics – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
- English/Hindi – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer
- Qualifying Marks:
- UR: 30%
- OBC/EWS: 25%
- SC/ST: 20%
4. Trade/Skill Test
- Qualifying in nature
- Total Marks: 50
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 20
- Practical test based on applied trade
5. Document Verification (DV)
- Verification of all original documents
- Includes educational certificates, caste certificate, domicile, etc.
6. Medical Examination
- Detailed medical check-up
- Final fitness test as per CRPF medical standards
