Eligibility Details
Candidates should meet the prescribed educational and trade-related requirements before applying. The main qualification conditions are:
- Candidates must have passed SSC/10th Standard or an equivalent examination with Science subjects.
- Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks in the required qualification.
- Candidates should possess an ITI Certificate or National/State Trade Certificate in the relevant trade.
- Alternatively, candidates can meet the requirement through two years of full-time apprenticeship training as an apprentice trainee in the relevant trade from a recognized institution.
- Candidates can also qualify with three years of relevant work experience in a Ministry, Department, Organization, Public Sector Undertaking, or Autonomous Body under the Central Government, State Government, or Union Territory.
- For the Computer/IT Assistant trade, candidates should have an ITI qualification in Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA) or Computer Hardware & Network Maintenance (CHNM), as applicable.
- Applicants must ensure that their qualification or experience matches the specific trade for which they apply.
Salary Details
CSIR-NGRI will offer the selected candidates a salary under Level-02 of the 7th Central Pay Commission. In addition, the post carries several applicable allowances and benefits.
