Eligibility Details

Senior Assistant
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university along with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in administrative or office-related roles.

Assistant
Applicants should hold a Graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in office or administrative work.

Junior Assistant
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree along with at least 2 years of relevant experience in clerical or administrative functions.

Laboratory Assistant
Applicants should have a Graduate degree and must possess a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi.

Laboratory Attendant
Candidates must have passed 12th (Intermediate) along with a relevant certificate in laboratory work or related field.

Library Attendant
Applicants should have passed 12th with Science stream from a recognized board.

Salary Details

  • Senior Assistant: Level 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)
  • Assistant: Level 4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100)
  • Junior Assistant: Level 2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200)
  • Laboratory Assistant: Level 4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100)
  • Laboratory Attendant: Level 1 (₹18,000 – ₹56,900)
  • Library Attendant: Level 1 (₹18,000 – ₹56,900)

In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates will also receive allowances such as DA, HRA, and other benefits as per University of Delhi norms.

  • Maximum Age (All Other Posts): 32 years
  • Maximum Age (Senior Assistant): 35 years

Selection Process

  • Preliminary Examination: This is the first screening stage consisting of an objective-type test. It is designed to assess candidates’ basic aptitude, reasoning ability, general awareness, and relevant subject knowledge depending on the post.
  • Main Examination: Candidates who qualify the preliminary exam will be called for the mains examination. This stage is more comprehensive and evaluates in-depth subject knowledge, analytical skills, and job-related competency required for the respective post.
  • Skill Test (If Applicable): For posts such as Junior Assistant and other clerical/technical roles, a skill test will be conducted. This may include typing speed test, computer proficiency test, or practical assessment based on job requirements.
  • Document Verification (DV): Candidates who qualify all the above stages will be called for Document Verification. In this stage, all original documents such as educational certificates, identity proof, experience certificates, and category certificates will be verified. Final selection will be confirmed only after successful verification.
