Selection Process
IBPS conducts the recruitment process in four stages to select suitable candidates for the Probationary Officer (PO) and Management Trainee (MT) posts. Therefore, candidates must qualify at each stage to proceed to the next phase of the recruitment process.
Stage 1: Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Examination is the first stage of the selection process. It is conducted in online mode and consists of objective-type questions. Moreover, candidates must clear the sectional as well as overall cut-off to become eligible for the Main Examination.

Stage 4: Interview
Finally, shortlisted candidates appear for the Interview, which carries 100 marks. During this stage, the interview panel evaluates the candidate’s communication skills, confidence, personality, banking awareness, and overall suitability for the role.

Final Merit List
