Eligibility Details
Candidates must meet the minimum educational qualification for the post they apply for. The required qualifications are as follows:
- Stenographer Grade-II: Passed 12th (Intermediate) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Tax Assistant: Completed a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Passed 10th (Matriculation) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive salary under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay matrix. In addition to the basic pay, they will also receive DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, and other Central Government benefits as per rules.

Age Relaxation
The Income Tax Department will provide upper age relaxation to eligible meritorious sportspersons as per Government of India rules.

Application Fee
To complete the application process, every candidate must pay the prescribed fee through online mode. The department has not announced any category-wise fee exemption.

Selection Process
