Eligibility Details
- Candidates must have a certificate in the relevant trade from a Government recognized Technical Institution (ITI).
- OR candidates who have passed 8th standard with at least 1 year of experience in the relevant trade are also eligible.
- For the MV Mechanic post, candidates must have a valid Driving Licence for both Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) and Light Motor Vehicle (LMV).
Salary Details
- Selected candidates will receive a salary of ₹19,900 per month.
- The pay level will be Level-2 according to the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).
- In addition to the basic pay, employees may also get other government allowances as per rules of the India Post and the Ministry of Communications.

- Age will be calculated as on 01 July 2026.

Fee Payment Mode

Selection Process
- The selection will be based on a Competitive Trade Test.
- The trade test will evaluate the practical skills and technical knowledge of candidates in their respective trades.
- Eligible candidates will receive the hall permit with the date, time, and venue of the trade test.
- Candidates who are not eligible will not receive any separate intimation.
- After final selection, candidates will have to complete a 1-year probation period as per the rules of India Post.
