Eligibility Details
Candidates must meet the following educational requirements before applying:
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university.
- The university or institution must be recognized by the Government of India.
- Candidates must have declared their graduation result on or before 31 July 2026.
- Applicants registered under the NATS portal must have obtained their graduation result between 1 March 2022 and 31 July 2026 (both dates inclusive).
- Candidates must produce their mark sheets and provisional/degree certificate during the document verification process.
- Applicants must satisfy all eligibility conditions mentioned in the official notification before the final selection.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend during the one-year apprenticeship period. The stipend depends on the category of the branch where they are posted:

Note:
- The Government of India provides a ₹6,150 subsidy through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) for eligible NATS apprentices.
- Apprentices are not eligible for DA, HRA, medical benefits, or any other employee allowances.
- This is a stipend, not a regular salary, because the engagement is under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Age limit
The age of the candidates will be calculated as on 01 July 2026.
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 28 Years
- Age Relaxation as per government rules.

Selection Process
The Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) will conduct the selection process in the following stages:
- Online Written Examination: Candidates must appear for an online objective test consisting of multiple subjects.
- Local Language Test: Qualified candidates may need to demonstrate proficiency in the local language of the State/UT they applied for.
