Eligibility Details
- Scientist Grade–II
- MBBS degree from an MCI-recognized medical college OR
- Master’s degree in Microbiology, Clinical Microbiology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Bacteriology, Physiology, Pharmacology, Serology, or Molecular Biology with at least 60% marks.
- Relevant work experience of 5 years (medical) or 7 years (non-medical) in related fields, or PhD with 3 years experience.
- Scientist Grade–III (Veterinarian)
- M.V.Sc degree in Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Public Health, Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary Pathology, or Veterinary Epidemiology.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in veterinary practice and laboratory work.
- Junior Scientist
- Master’s degree in Microbiology, Clinical Microbiology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Bacteriology, Pharmacology, Serology, Molecular Biology, or Physiology.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in biological research, quality control testing, or related areas.
- Administrative Assistant
- Graduate degree in Arts / Commerce / Science with at least 50% marks.
- 5 years of experience in administration, stores, or accounts in a government or autonomous organization.
- Junior Hindi Translator
- Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a subject OR
- Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a subject OR
- Master’s degree in any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory subjects.
- Diploma or certificate in Hindi–English translation or 2 years translation experience in government offices.
- Laboratory Technician
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Molecular Biology with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
OR - Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT).
- Minimum 1 year practical experience in a medical laboratory or research institution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Molecular Biology with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
- Assistant – II
- 12th pass with at least 50% marks from a recognized board.
- Typing speed of 35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi on computer.
Salary Details
- Scientist Grade–II
- Pay Level: 12
- Salary: ₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200 per month
- Medical personnel are also eligible for NPA (Non-Practicing Allowance).
- Scientist Grade–III (Veterinarian)
- Pay Level: 10
- Salary: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month
- Veterinary officers also receive NPA allowance.
- Junior Scientist
- Pay Level: 7
- Salary: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400 per month.
- Administrative Assistant
- Pay Level: 6
- Salary: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 per month.
- Junior Hindi Translator
- Pay Level: 6
- Salary: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 per month.

Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT):
Most posts require candidates to appear for an objective-type computer-based examination. The test will include multiple-choice questions and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. - Skill Test:
For some posts such as Administrative Assistant and Assistant-II, candidates who qualify in the written exam will be called for a skill test in a 1:5 ratio. - Descriptive Test:
For the Junior Hindi Translator post, candidates must appear for a second descriptive paper that includes translation, précis writing, and essay writing in Hindi and English. - Personal Discussion / Interview:
For higher-level posts like Scientist Grade-II and Scientist Grade-III, shortlisted candidates will be called for personal discussion or interview after the screening test. - Document Verification:
Final selection will be subject to verification of educational qualifications, experience certificates, and other required documents.
