The Society for Centralized Recruitment of Staff in Subordinate Courts (S.S.S.C) under the High Court of Punjab and Haryana has released a major recruitment notification for 1265 Clerk posts in the Subordinate Courts of Haryana. Eligibility Details
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from a recognized university.
- Applicants holding an equivalent graduation degree are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates must have proficiency in computers, especially in Word Processing and Spread Sheets.
- Applicants should have passed Matriculation with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects.
- Alternatively, candidates who studied Hindi in +2, B.A., or M.A. are also eligible.
- Candidates must fulfill all educational qualifications before the prescribed cut-off date.
Salary Details
- During the first 3 years of the probation period, selected candidates will receive a fixed salary of approximately ₹25,500 per month.
- After completion of probation, candidates will get salary under Pay Matrix Level-2 ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 as per Haryana Government rules.
- Moreover, after including DA, HRA, and other allowances, the approximate in-hand salary may reach around ₹38,000 per month.
- In addition, employees will also receive other government benefits and allowances from time to time.

- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 42 Years
- The age limit will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.
- Age relaxation will apply for reserved categories as per Government rules.

Selection Process
The selection of candidates for the Clerk posts in the Subordinate Courts of Haryana will be carried out in multiple stages as per the official notification.
1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
- The first stage will be an online written examination (CBT).
- The exam will consist of two subjects:
- General Knowledge
- English Composition
- Total Marks: 100
- Duration: 2 hours
- Marking Scheme:
- 1 mark for each correct answer
- 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer (negative marking applicable)

- Candidates who qualify the CBT will be called for CPT.
- This test is qualifying in nature and marks will not be added to final merit.
- It includes:
- Spreadsheet Test (10 marks)
- Minimum qualifying: 40% (4 marks)
- Typing Test (English)
- Required speed: 30 words per minute
- Spreadsheet Test (10 marks)
3. Final Selection
- Final merit will be prepared based only on CBT marks.
- CPT is mandatory but qualifying only.
- In case of a tie in marks, older candidates will be given preference, and if still tied, alphabetical order will be followed.
