Eligibility Details
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
- The required educational qualification must be completed on or before 01 January 2026.
- Ex-Servicemen candidates are eligible with a minimum qualification of Matriculation (10th pass).
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject from a recognized board.
- Any equivalent Punjabi language qualification approved by the government will also be accepted.
- Applicants who do not have Punjabi at the Matriculation level will not be considered eligible for the recruitment process.
Salary Details
- Selected candidates will receive a minimum basic pay of ₹19,900 per month.
- The salary is provided under Level-2 of the 7th Pay Matrix as per Punjab Government rules.
- The initial minimum pay of ₹19,900 will be applicable for the first three years from the date of joining.
- Candidates will also receive additional government allowances along with the basic salary.
- Dearness Allowance (DA) will be provided as per government norms.
- House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be given based on the posting location.
- Other benefits may include medical facilities, transport allowance, and other admissible allowances.

Selection Process
- Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) – Candidates must appear for a written exam consisting of Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-I is for merit, while Paper-II (Punjabi language) is qualifying in nature.
- Stage 2: Physical Screening Test (PST) – Candidates who qualify the CBT will undergo physical tests such as running, long jump, and high jump.
- Stage 3: Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – In this stage, the height and other physical standards of candidates will be checked according to the eligibility criteria.
- Stage 4: Document Verification – Candidates who pass the physical tests will be called to verify their educational, category, and identity documents.
- Final Selection – The final merit list will be prepared mainly based on marks obtained in CBT Paper-I, subject to qualifying all other stages.
