Eligibility Details
- Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute.
- Moreover, the bank accepts only regular graduation qualifications approved by the Government of India.
- Candidates should also possess knowledge of the local language of the selected state or district.
- Applicants must prove local language proficiency through their 8th, 10th, 12th, or graduation mark sheet or certificate.
- However, candidates who have completed postgraduate courses cannot apply for this apprenticeship.
- Additionally, applicants with one year or more work experience after graduation are not eligible.
- Candidates should not have completed more than five years after passing their qualifying examination.
Salary Details
- Punjab & Sind Bank will provide a monthly stipend of ₹12,300 to selected apprentices.
- Moreover, the bank will pay the stipend during the entire 12-month training period.
- However, apprentices will not receive additional allowances such as travel allowance, daily allowance, or other employee benefits.
- Additionally, the apprenticeship program will not guarantee permanent employment in the bank after training completion.
Age limit
- Candidates must be at least 20 years old to apply for the apprenticeship program.

Selection Process
- Punjab & Sind Bank will conduct the selection process completely on a merit basis.

- The bank will create separate merit lists state-wise, district-wise, and category-wise.
- Additionally, candidates with higher marks in Class 12 will receive better ranking in the merit list.
- If two or more candidates secure equal marks, then the bank will give preference to the older candidate.
- After merit list preparation, shortlisted candidates will appear for document verification.
- Finally, the bank will confirm selection only after successful eligibility and document verification.
