- Educational Qualification:
- Forest Guard: Must have passed Class 10 (Madhyamik) or equivalent.
- Forester: Must have passed Class 12 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent.
- Candidates must be physically fit and medically sound for forest field duties.
- Physical Standards (Minimum Requirement):
- Male (UR & SC): Height – 163 cm, Chest – 79 cm (with 5 cm expansion)
- Male (ST): Height – 152 cm, Chest – 79 cm (with 5 cm expansion)
- Female (UR & SC): Height – 150 cm, Chest – 74 cm (with 5 cm expansion)
- Female (ST): Height – 145 cm, Chest – 74 cm (with 5 cm expansion)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Male candidates must complete a 25 km walk within 4 hours
- Female candidates must complete a 16 km walk within 4 hours
- Candidates must be a Permanent Resident Certificate (PRTC) holder of Tripura.
Salary Details
- Forest Guard:
Selected candidates will receive a pay scale under Level–6, ranging from ₹5,700 to ₹24,000, along with a Grade Pay of ₹2,100. - Forester:
Selected candidates will be placed under Level–7, with a salary range of ₹5,700 to ₹24,000, along with a Grade Pay of ₹2,200.
Moreover, apart from the basic pay, candidates will also get additional government allowances as per rules, which further increases the overall salary package.
