Eligibility Details
Candidates must fulfill the following educational qualification before applying:
- Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination recognized by the Telangana State Government.
- For the Fire Fighter post, candidates must also possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving Licence as on the notification date.
- Candidates with higher qualifications are also eligible to apply.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary and various government benefits after appointment.
- Salary: ₹24,280 – ₹72,850 per month.
- Selected candidates will receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other government allowances as per Telangana Government rules.
- Employees will also get medical benefits, paid leave, and other service benefits as applicable.
- The government will revise salary and allowances from time to time according to official regulations.
Age limit
Candidates must satisfy the prescribed age criteria to become eligible for this recruitment.
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 22 Years
- The department will calculate the age as on 1st July 2026.
- The government will provide age relaxation to reserved category candidates as per Telangana Government rules.
Age Relaxation
The Telangana Government will provide age relaxation to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the applicable recruitment rules.
- SC/ST & BC Candidates: 5 Years
- Telangana State Government Employees: 5 Years (subject to rules)
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 Years + the length of service rendered in the Armed Forces
- NCC Instructors: 3 Years + the length of service as NCC Instructor
- Other eligible categories will receive age relaxation according to Telangana Government norms.
Application Fee
Candidates must pay the prescribed application fee while submitting the online application form.
- SC/ST (Local Candidates of Telangana): Concessional application fee as prescribed in the online application.
- All Other Candidates: Application fee as prescribed in the online application.
- Candidates applying for multiple notifications will receive a rebate on the application fee for each additional notification, as per TSLPRB rules.
- Candidates can pay the fee through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or other online payment modes available on the official portal.
- The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, even if the application is rejected or the candidate becomes ineligible.
Selection Process
The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board will complete the selection process through the following stages:
- Stage 1: First, the board will conduct a Preliminary Written Test (PWT) for all eligible candidates.
- Stage 2: Next, qualified candidates will undergo the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
- Stage 3: Thereafter, candidates who qualify the physical tests will appear for the Final Written Examination (FWE).
- Stage 4: After that, the board will verify all original documents through Certificate Verification.
- Stage 5: Subsequently, candidates will undergo a Medical Examination to confirm their fitness.
- Stage 6: Finally, the board will prepare the merit list and will issue appointment letters to the selected candidates after completing all required formalities.
