Eligibility Details
Technician Grade-I Signal
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Instrumentation, or related disciplines from a recognized university.
- Alternatively, candidates with a Diploma/Degree in Engineering in relevant technical streams can also apply.
Technician Grade-III
- Candidates must have passed Class 10th (Matriculation/SSLC) from a recognized board.
- In addition, applicants must hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade approved by NCVT/SCVT.
- Candidates who have completed an Act Apprenticeship in related trades are also eligible for this post.
Salary Details
Technician Grade-I Signal
- Initial Pay: ₹29,200 per month
- Pay Level: Level-5
- In addition, selected candidates will receive allowances such as DA, HRA, TA, and other railway benefits.
Technician Grade-III
- Initial Pay: ₹19,900 per month
- Pay Level: Level-2
- Along with the basic salary, candidates will also get government allowances and additional benefits as per Railway rules.
Age limit as on 01.07.2026
Technician Grade-I Signal
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 33 Years
Technician Grade-III
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
