SalaryDetails
Selected apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹15,000 per month during the training period.
Moreover, the apprenticeship duration will remain one year.
However, SBI will not provide any additional allowances, bonuses, or employee benefits to apprentices.
Therefore, candidates will receive only the fixed monthly stipend throughout the engagement period.
Age limit
Candidates must be at least 20 years old.
Moreover, the maximum age limit is 28 years as on 01 April 2026.
Applicants must have been born between 02 April 1998 and 01 April 2006 (both dates inclusive).

Selection Process
Online Written Examination: First, candidates have to appear for an online objective test. This exam includes sections like General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. Moreover, the exam is conducted in multiple languages depending on the state. Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks decided by the bank to move to the next stage.
Local Language Test: After qualifying the written exam, candidates must appear for a local language proficiency test. In this stage, SBI checks whether the candidate can read, write, speak, and understand the local language of the applied state. However, candidates who have proof of studying the same language in 10th or 12th standard are exempted from this test.
Document Verification: Subsequently, shortlisted candidates are called for document verification. During this stage, candidates must present original certificates related to age, education, category, and other eligibility conditions. Therefore, any mismatch or incorrect information may lead to rejection.
Medical Examination: Finally, selected candidates must undergo a medical fitness test. Only those candidates who are declared medically fit as per SBI standards will be considered for final engagement as apprentices.
