Bank of Baroda has released the Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification for 5000 apprentice posts across various states and union territories in India. Through this recruitment drive, the bank aims to provide candidates with valuable banking experience and practical training under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Eligibility Details
- Candidates must hold a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or institution.
- The qualification must be recognized by the Central Government.
- Applicants registered under NATS must have completed graduation within the last 4 years from the cut-off date.
- Candidates who already completed apprenticeship training in any organization are not eligible.
- Moreover, candidates having 1 year or more of job experience after completing the required qualification cannot apply.
Salary Details
- Bank of Baroda will pay selected apprentices a monthly stipend of ₹15,000 during the training period.
- The training program will continue for one year.
- Apart from the monthly stipend, the bank will not provide extra allowances or employee benefits.
- Additionally, apprentices will work as trainees and not as permanent bank staff.
- After completing the apprenticeship, candidates cannot claim a permanent job in the bank.
Age limit
- Candidates must be minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years old to apply.
- The bank will calculate the age limit as on 01 May 2026.
- Applicants must ensure they fulfill the required age criteria before submitting the online application form.

Selection Process
The selection process will be carried out in multiple stages to ensure fair evaluation of candidates. First of all, candidates will have to appear for an online written examination. After that, shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. Finally, candidates must qualify the local language proficiency test of the respective State/UT.
Online Examination Pattern
- The exam will consist of 100 questions for 100 marks
- Total duration of the exam will be 60 minutes
- Each section will carry 25 questions and 25 marks
- There will be no negative marking

- General / Financial Awareness
- Quantitative & Reasoning Ability
- Computer Knowledge
- General English (English only section)
Further Stages
- Document Verification: Candidates must produce original documents for verification.
- Local Language Test: Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the language of the applied State/UT.
- However, candidates who have studied the local language in 10th or 12th may be exempted from this test.

- Then, eligible applicants will receive an email from BFSI SSC with the link to the application form.
- Next, candidates must fill the online application form carefully with personal, educational, and preference details.
- After that, upload all required documents in the prescribed format.
- Subsequently, pay the application fee through online mode to complete the process.
