Eligibility Details
Candidates must fulfill the post-wise educational qualifications and experience requirements mentioned below.
Young Professional-II (YP-II)
- Master’s Degree in Plant Breeding, Genetics, Agriculture (with specialization in Plant Breeding and/or Genetics), Biotechnology, Plant Biotechnology, or M.Tech in Biotechnology.
- Must have more than one year of experience working in wheat-related research activities.
Desirable Qualification:
- Experience in field experimental layout.
- Experience in wheat crossing and selection work.
Field Assistant
- Intermediate (12th Pass) from a recognized board.
Desirable Qualification:
- Experience in field and laboratory work related to wheat.
- Knowledge of field layout, single plant harvesting, tagging, and related activities.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive the following monthly remuneration as per the project norms.
Young Professional-II (YP-II)
- Salary: ₹42,000 per month
- Nature of Pay: Fixed monthly remuneration
Field Assistant
- Salary: ₹22,500 per month
- Nature of Pay: Fixed monthly remuneration
- Additional Benefit: 10% increment in the third year, subject to continuation as per project requirements and applicable rules.
Age limit
The age limit will be calculated as on the date of the interview.

- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 45 Years
Field Assistant
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 45 Years

Selection Process
