Eligibility Details
Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility criteria before applying for this recruitment:
Agniveervayu Non-Combatant (Hospitality Stream)
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Pass) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
- Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must meet the Indian Air Force’s prescribed medical and physical standards.
Agniveervayu Non-Combatant (Housekeeping Stream)
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Pass) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
- Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must fulfill all the required medical and physical eligibility conditions specified by the Indian Air Force.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary package along with several benefits under the Agnipath Scheme. The monthly package increases every year during the four-year engagement period.

Age limit
Candidates must fulfill the prescribed age criteria as mentioned in the official notification.
- Candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.
- The maximum age at the time of enrolment must not exceed 22 years if the candidate qualifies through all stages of the selection process.

Selection Process

- Written Examination: Candidates must first appear for a written test consisting of General English and General Knowledge questions based on the 10th standard syllabus.
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Candidates who qualify in the written exam must complete the prescribed physical fitness tests, including a 1.6 km run, push-ups, sit-ups, and squats.
- Stream Suitability Test (SST): Qualified candidates will undergo a practical assessment based on the selected stream (Hospitality or Housekeeping) to evaluate their job-related skills.
- Medical Examination: Finally, shortlisted candidates must pass the Indian Air Force medical examination to confirm that they meet all required medical standards.
- Final Merit List: The Indian Air Force will prepare the final merit list based on the candidate’s performance in all qualifying stages and medical fitness.

How to Apply
Candidates must submit their application form in offline mode only. Therefore, follow the steps below carefully to avoid rejection.
- Visit the official Indian Air Force recruitment website and open the Agniveervayu Non-Combatant section.
- Download the official application form, guidelines, and other required formats.
- Print the application form and fill in all the required details carefully using capital letters as instructed.
- Paste a recent passport-size photograph and attach all the required self-attested documents, including educational certificates, age proof, identity proof, and other documents mentioned in the notification.
- If you are below 18 years of age, attach the parent/guardian consent certificate in the prescribed format. Candidates above 18 years must submit the self-consent certificate.
- Also, enclose a self-addressed envelope with a ₹10 postage stamp along with the application form.
- Place the completed application form and all documents in an envelope and clearly write “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF AGNIVEERVAYU NON-COMBATANT INTAKE 01/2027” on the top of the envelope.
- Send the application by Normal Post or submit it through the Drop Box to any one of the Indian Air Force Stations mentioned in the official notification.
- Ensure that your application reaches the selected Air Force Station on or before 17 August 2026, as late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
- Finally, keep a photocopy of the completed application form and postal receipt for your future reference.
